Crown Pacific Fine Foods is the leading specialty food distributor on the West Coast. We are highly successful and well respected in the specialty food arena.
We are seeking a management team member with expertise in logistics, transportation, and distribution for our operation in Kent, WA.
The Assistant Warehouse Manager will work closely with other Supervisors to manage all areas relating to our Warehouse, Distribution, Logistics, Transportation, Delivery Drivers, Warehouse Personnel, and Order Selectors.
Other related duties:
- Help create, implement, and manage warehouse and operational policies and procedures.
- This is a hands-on (player/coach) position and requires the individual to be able to perform daily operational tasks while managing others.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years of warehouse and operations management experience.
- Extensive delivery driving experience, 26’ box truck preferred
Knowledge at entry:
- Detailed knowledge of warehousing and distribution operations
- Transportation and routing
- Auditing practices and principles
- Budgeting practices and principles
- Computer applications related to the work
- Standard office practices and procedures
- Applicable laws, codes and regulations; and techniques for dealing with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic and backgrounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $55,000.00 per year
