Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive exterior washing, including vehicle exterior cleaning and hand washing techniques to remove dirt, grime, and road debris.
- Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers and polishing tools to restore shine and remove surface imperfections.
- Detail vehicle interiors by vacuuming, cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and door jambs to achieve a spotless finish.
- Operate standard passenger cars with confidence, ensuring safe driving practices at all times during travel between client locations.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products while adhering to safe work practices to prevent damage to vehicles or injury.
- Maintain the cleanliness of tools and equipment after each job, ensuring readiness for the next appointment.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed, answering questions, and ensuring clients’ expectations are exceeded.
Experience
- Prior experience in auto detailing or auto detailing facility work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with vehicle paint correction, buffing techniques, and automotive cleaning methods is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and confidently during mobile service routes.
- Experience with custodial or car wash services demonstrates a strong foundation in vehicle cleanliness maintenance.
- Comfort with heavy lifting of cleaning supplies or equipment is necessary for efficient job performance.
- Knowledge of safe work practices in automotive environments ensures safety for yourself and others on the job site.
