This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rocky Mount, NC, for a Dispatcher - Outside Carriers. The Dispatcher will coordinate daily operations of outside carriers, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining communication with drivers, clients, and team members. Responsibilities include scheduling and assigning loads, monitoring carrier performance, resolving delivery issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The role also involves fostering positive relationships with carriers and clients to maintain service excellence and operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in dispatching, scheduling, and carrier communication
- Knowledge of transportation logistics, freight management, and industry compliance
