CUSTODIAN - PM Shift

GENERAL PURPOSE

Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for keeping buildings in a clean and orderly condition at all times. Performs medium to heavy cleaning in designated production areas, breakrooms, and office space as outlined below.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for the general cleaning and trash pickup of all production, main office, interior, and exterior building areas including parking areas
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming floors
• Service, clean, sanitize, and supply items in all facility restrooms
• Responsible for the replenishment of all water/ice containers (if applicable) for the production teams within the assigned shift
• Responsible for cleaning all assigned areas as assigned by management
• Will prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water and chemicals in specific containers, according to specifications
• Dust walls, ceilings, machines, and equipment as instructed by management
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs to buildings or operating systems
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning, restocking, and maintenance duties
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work in an organized manner and with minimum supervision.
• Must have excellent reliability, and moderate flexibility with schedule to work as needed.
• Must be able to work as part of a team environment.
