About the Role:

The Mid Shift Flatwork/DryFold position is essential in ensuring the efficient processing and handling of flat linens and dry folded items within a laundry or linen service facility. This role focuses on operating specialized machinery to fold, sort, and prepare linens for distribution while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth workflow during the mid shift, collaborating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are critical to prevent damage to linens and ensure a safe working environment. Ultimately, this role supports the overall operational success by delivering neatly folded, high-quality linens ready for customer use or shipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot folding and ironing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a laundry, linen service, or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with industrial flatwork ironers and dry folding machinery.
• Basic knowledge of quality control procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Flexibility to work mid-shift hours and adapt to changing production demands.

Responsibilities:

• Operate flatwork ironers and dry folding machines to process linens efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect linens for quality, removing any damaged or stained items from the production line.
• Sort and organize folded linens according to size, type, and customer specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards around machinery and work areas.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and resolve any operational issues.

Skills:
