Position Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Jewelry Buying Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on role that includes customer interaction as well as performing the essential behind-the-scenes work that keeps our shop running smoothly. The ideal candidate is friendly, hardworking, and takes pride in keeping the store clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with buying transactions for gold, silver, coins, and fine jewelry
- Deliver outstanding customer service in person and over the phone
- Clean and maintain the sales floor, display cases, bathrooms, and common areas
- Restock supplies and help ensure the store is always guest-ready
- Perform general shop tasks and support daily operations
- Learn basic knowledge of jewelry, coins, and precious metals
Requirements:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks regularly
- Dependable and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Physically able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Positive attitude and team player mindset
- Retail or jewelry experience is a plus, but not required
