Duties
- Assist in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of project specifications
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely to move materials, tools, and equipment around the job site
- Implement erosion control measures to protect the environment and maintain site stability during construction activities
- Operate power tools and equipment such as drills, saws, and grinders while following safety regulations and proper procedures
- Conduct routine equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure operational efficiency of tools and machinery
- Follow all workplace safety protocols, including OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection use, climbing safety procedures, and hazard awareness
- Support erosion control efforts by installing barriers, silt fences, or other measures as directed by project supervisors
Skills
