About Crown Rental
Crown Rental is a family-owned and operated equipment and event rental company with three locations in Dakota County. We take pride in running solid equipment, treating people right, and getting the job done.
We service Stihl and Honda equipment and maintain a full fleet ranging from small lawn tools to compact construction equipment and aerial lifts.
What You’ll Be Working On
Our fleet includes:
- Lawn mowers, blowers, and other lawn & garden equipment
- Edgers, trenchers, and compact equipment
- Mini skids and ride-in skids
- Mini excavators
- Smaller aerial boom lifts
- Trailers
You won’t be doing the same repair every day. There’s variety here.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair Honda small engines, Kohler Engines & others
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative service
- Repair and replace hydraulic lines and troubleshoot systems
- Complete electrical diagnostics and mechanical repairs
- Inspect equipment to ensure it’s safe and rental-ready
- Travel to local job sites when needed for service calls and equipment repairs
- Keep your workspace clean and organized
- Follow safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of mechanic/technician experience preferred
- Experience working on small engines
- Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems
- Must have your own toolbox and tools
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- Reliable and dependable
- Clean driving record (required for service calls)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Comfortable working both in the shop and on job sites
