Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join Crown’s construction and development projects across multiple concurrent assignments. This role carries full accountability for project execution—including cost, schedule, risk, and overall performance—while adapting to changing priorities at both the project and portfolio level.

As a real estate owner and developer, Crown offers a role that is fundamentally different from traditional general contracting. The Senior Project Manager focuses on strategic oversight, financial stewardship, and decision‑making along with task‑level execution. This position requires sound judgment, strong leadership presence, and disciplined attention to detail, with direct interaction with executive leadership and responsibility for long‑term asset outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Lead and oversee Project Management team members.
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for project cost, schedule and execution strategy.
• Prepare bid packages, solicit bids, and make recommendations to executive leadership.
• Lead contract negotiations, subcontractor buyouts, and complex change management efforts.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting with strong discipline.
• Direct and coordinate consultants, contractors, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Adapt execution strategies in response to changing scopes, schedules, and leadership priorities.
• Escalate and resolve complex issues requiring leadership judgement and decision-making.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 8 years of construction project management experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple active projects concurrently and act on all with a sense of urgency.
• Exceptional attention to detail paired with sound judgment and decision-making ability.
• Comfort operating with accountability in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be available to work full-time in-office at our Warren, Michigan headquarters
• Willingness to travel occasionally to sites across North America
