Job Summary
We are a friendly, general private practice in Linn Creek, MO. Our office is seeking a full-time dental hygienist to help accommodate our growing practice. We are looking for someone who is eager to work in a great team environment. We have wonderful patients whom we love to see for their oral hygiene care.
- Willing to entertain a part-time position.
- Pay is negotiable.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments including medical history reviews and vital signs monitoring.
- Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing using appropriate techniques.
- Utilize Open Dental software (very user friendly!) for patient documentation and record management.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
- Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement aseptic techniques and infection control measures in all clinical settings.
- Stay updated on dental terminology, medical imaging, and general dentistry practices.
Experience
- New Grads are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience is welcome
Requirements
- Applicants must have certifications from accredited dental hygiene school and a current Missouri dental hygiene license.
- CPR certified
- Be able to administer Local Anesthesia
