Director of Rehabilitation Services for Skilled Nursing Facility

We are searching for a Director of Rehab at Crown Bay Nursing and Rehab in Alameda, Ca

Duties:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of the rehabilitation department
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of rehabilitation professionals
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated patient care
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of rehabilitation services provided
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions
- Manage the department budget and resources
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in rehabilitation practices
- Utilize electronic medical record systems such as eClinicalWorks and Epic for documentation and utilization management

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, preferably in a hospital or managed care environment
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, protocols, and best practices
- Experience with utilization management and ensuring appropriate levels of care
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
