Role Description
This role strengthens the organization’s ability to rely on its data for strategic, operational, and regulatory needs. The Data Quality Analyst will help implement and maintain a comprehensive data quality framework while resolving recurring issues at the source. This position partners with technology, analytics, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, complete, timely, and governed consistently across the enterprise.
Duties and Responsibilities (will include but are not limited to):
· Develop and refine the enterprise data quality strategy, including rule libraries, thresholds, and monitoring routines.
· Establish standards, controls, and processes that support a scalable data governance model.
· Contribute to documentation, operating procedures, and stewardship guidelines.
· Analyze exceptions and evaluate underlying patterns to identify systemic issues.
· Create dashboards and trend reports to surface insights to management team.
· Investigate recurring data quality issues by tracing data from source systems through pipelines and downstream consumers.
· Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations in a clear, structured manner.
- Lead data stewardship and data quality initiatives, ensuring that data is trustworthy and fit for business use.
- Collaborate with IT, Legal, Compliance, Analytics and business leaders to ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Define and monitor data governance metrics to measure the effectiveness of policies and initiatives.
- Oversee data classification, metadata management, and data lineage programs.
- Drive master data management (MDM) efforts, ensuring data consistency across enterprise applications.
- Establish a data governance committee to align data governance priorities with business needs.
- Support leadership and training to business units to promote data literacy and accountability.
· Support stakeholders in adopting and following data quality and governance standards.
· Provide requirements and guidance to ensure quality control remains effective during transitions.
· Understand the data exchange processes and data collected by CAM and its various vendors.
- Stay updated on emerging data governance trends and technologies, recommending improvements as needed.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of CAM’s products and solutions, business practices, and capabilities.
- Serve as stakeholder advocate, educator, and trusted advisor who will solve the internal and external data challenges and deliver quality solutions to their needs throughout the data lifecycle.
- Engage and partner with CAM stakeholders and other parts of the business to offer the most appropriate support or business knowledge.

Qualifications
· 3–6 years of experience in data quality, data governance, data strategy, or related fields.
· Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets in a warehouse environment.
· Experience with data quality or governance platforms.
· Proven ability to design or enhance data quality frameworks, controls, and processes.
· Demonstrated success conducting root-cause analysis and coordinating remediation.
· Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Solid understanding of data models, ETL/ELT processes, and data lineage.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

- Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, industry regulations, and compliance standards.
- Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Snowflake, Atlan, Collibra, Informatica, Alation, etc.).

- Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement data governance best practices.
- College degree or equivalent strongly preferred; High school degree, GED or foreign equivalent required.
