Work Arrangement:
This position supports our terminal operations in Delta Junction, Alaska.
What You'll Do:
You will join the ranks of our professional drivers who daily meet the unique challenges of selling and safely distributing fuel throughout the great state of Alaska.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and receive petroleum products to and from company tanks, customer tanks, and airplanes as required.
- Perform customer service activities, including fuel attendant duties; assist with gasoline pump meter readings, sales slips and credit card charges.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and requisition parts and repairs.
- Perform or assist with weekly inspections of facilities.
- Assist maintenance crews with maintenance and upgrade.
- Track inventory.
- Complete paperwork and update information into computer tracking systems.
- Understand and implement company, state and federal regulations.
- Act as a first responder to any spill incidents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent or experience in lieu of education.
- Must possess a valid Class A or B CDL with Tanker, Hazardous Materials and Air Brake endorsements.
- Must meet the current driver qualifications as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Must possess a current Medical Certificate.
- Must be willing to work some overtime.
- Minimum of two years of experience operating vehicles that require a CDL.
- Experience with propane, natural gas, pipefitting, plumbing, crane, or boom truck is a plus.
- Experience operating vehicles with manual transmissions.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Able to use Tablet.
