Responsibilities
Summary
Performs various warehouse receiving, moving, stocking, and staging materials in support of operational requirements and shipping assignments as directed.
General Responsibilities
- Responsible for conducting physical inventory level counts.
- Ensures warehouse environment is clean and safe.
- Provides daily work direction and assignment for warehouseperson.
- Operates warehouse equipment as necessary.
- May review documentation such as requisitions and inventory lists to plan purchases.
- May prepare and review transportation documentation such as dock receipts, inventory pick lists and truck bills of lading.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 - 3 years in related field preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Forklift certification is preferred and may be required after the introductory period has been completed.
- Must be able to bend, reach, lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
- Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
