SUMMARY: Qualified candidates will perform various tasks and duties related to Inland and Offshore work- Types of projects Underwater Construction, Underwater/Topside Inspections, Pipeline Abandonments, Platform Removal, Debris Removal, Diamond Wire Cutting, Jetting, etc.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a fit to dive status.
- Maintain current training certifications.
- Maintaining your personal dive equipment.
- Working closely alongside the surface team.
- Complete Dive sheets, Daily logs, Personal Dive Log, and Reports
- Understanding proper decompression.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Capable of performing top quality work on a variety of projects.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent [G.E.D.] with proof of program completion from Association of Diving Contractors (ADCE) accredited school or equivalent.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: • TWIC card • Driver’s License •Passport • OPITO T-HUET • API RP 2D 7th Edition Rigging • SafeGulf • Dive School Completion Verification/Certification/Transcript • 1st Aid CPR AED and O2 Provider
EXPERIENCE: 3 years of diving experience preferred
Competencies: The basic function is to perform specific tasks in the water and topside having detailed knowledge of diving theory and practice, a full understanding of the diving equipment in use, and of the tasks assigned.
OTHER: Must be able to work in a drug free workplace; never under the influence of mind-altering prescriptions or non-prescription drugs, including alcohol, and other drugs of abuse.
JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments. Must be able, and willing to travel worldwide on short notice for indefinite periods of time. Flexible work schedule, on-call 24 hours a day / 7 days a week unless on scheduled time off.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Works outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and carry 50 feet. Must be able to push or pull 100lbs.
