Responsibilities
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR), submitting it to the Fleet Maintenance Department accordingly.
- Conduct pre-transfer operations inspections of facilities as necessary.
- Perform Fuels Quality testing in accordance with the Terminal Operations Manual (TOM).
- Assist with maintenance and housekeeping of equipment and facility as needed.
- Control inventory of bulk fuel tanks and tank trucks as required.
- Distribute and receive fuel to and from company tanks, customer tanks, barges, and aircraft as necessary.
- Provide customer service-related activities, including fuel attendant duties, reconciling pump meter readings, sales slips, and credit card charges, etc.
- Serve as the first responder to any Company oil spill incident.
- Follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Work overtime as necessary.
Requirements
- Possess a Class B (or A) CDL with Hazmat Endorsement.
- Hold a minimum one-year experience driving straight trucks.
- Hold a High School Diploma or GED.
- Be in possession of a valid State of Alaska driver's license.
- Be able to wear a half-face respirator.
- Be capable of climbing stairs at least 50 ft. high.
- Be prepared to work outside in various weather conditions.
