Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Crowley, TX, for a Cosmetology/Barber Teacher. The individual in this position will be responsible for instructing students in cosmetology and barbering, focusing on skills such as hair styling, hair cutting, and hair care. Core responsibilities include developing and delivering lesson plans, preparing students for certifications, maintaining a safe and professional learning environment, and staying current with industry best practices. This role also involves mentoring students and supporting their professional growth.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Hair Styling, Hair Cutting, and Hair Care
- Expertise in Cosmetology and Barbering techniques
- Current Texas cosmetology or barbering instructor license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Experience teaching or training in cosmetology or barbering is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
- Commitment to fostering student development and success
