What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lumber Yard Worker/Delivery Driver position at Crowl Lumber?
As a Driver you will:
- Gather and load trucks for delivery using forklifts and other equipment
- Ensure loads are complete and safely loaded
- Deliver to build sites, factories, farms and homeowners
- Communicate with customers and coworkers
- Carry material to specified locations as necessary
Preferred Experience
- Customer Service
- Delivering
- Operating trucks/equipment
Preferred Knowledge/Skills
- Building materials/construction
- Forklift operation
- Using basic wood shop equipment (ex. saws )
Required Knowledge/Skills
- Basic math
- Basic computer usage
- Basic reading/writing
- Using a map
- Using a tape measure
Necessary Abilities
- Lift and carry 100lbs
- Sit, Stand or Walk for extended periods of time
- Communicate effectively with customers
- Work outside in all weather conditions
