What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Crowhurst Foot Care?
We are a busy two physician practice that has been a part of the Illinois Valley for over 40 years. We are dedicated to treating the patients in our area with compassion and addressing the foot care needs of a wide range of ages and diseases. We are in need of a new team member to helps us with our goal of caring for patients in our area. Position would be for 5 days per week. Schedule is as follows: Monday-Thursday 8:30-4:30 and Fridays 8:30-3:00pm. We have a scheduled lunch hour from 12:00-1:00pm each day.
Responsibilities would include the following:
-Escorting patients from the waiting room to the exam room
-Assisting with patients in the exam room and with procedures
-Taking digital X Rays
-Sterilizing instruments
-Ordering supplies
-Assisting with ordering diabetic shoes and answering phones
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED is a must. Prior experience as a medical assistant or CNA is a plus. Willing to train and assist with skills required for our specific specialty. Excellent communication, organizational and multi tasking skills.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 per week
