Project Manager; Custom Home Construction (Lake Region, Maine)
About the Role
Crowell Construction builds high-end custom homes in Maine’s western Lakes Region; Kezar, Long, Highland, Brandy Pond, and Keewaydin. We’re a well-established, family-run builder known for craftsmanship and long-term client relationships, and we’re hiring a Project Manager to help run multiple custom builds at once.
This role is based in Bridgton, with our work centered nearby; no long commutes, no living out of your truck. We’re looking for someone who wants to put down roots and grow with us. We’re open to two kinds of candidates: an experienced PM ready to step in and run jobs day one, or a sharp, motivated up-and-comer with field and coordination experience looking to grow into a full project management role over time. If you’ve been running a single job and want to take on more, we’ll build a path for you.
Responsibilities
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries to keep multiple concurrent builds flowing on schedule
Manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines, flagging and solving problems before they cost time or money
Serve as a key point of contact for clients, keeping communication clear and relationships strong
Sequence trades across projects so crews and subs stay productive and no job sits idle
Review plans, scopes, and contracts, and help build estimates for upcoming work
Conduct site walkthroughs to keep quality, safety, and progress on track
Produce or coordinate drawings and plans (CAD experience a plus)
Experience
Experience in residential construction; field work, coordination, or project management (we’ll calibrate the role to your level)
Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects without dropping details
Comfort reading plans and a working understanding of estimating and cost control
Good communication; with crews, subs, and clients alike
Comfortable with everyday tools like Google Sheets for tracking and sharing project details; CAD ability a plus
A long-term mindset; we’re building a team, not filling a seat

Salary $65,000–$85,000 depending on experience, with room to grow
