Crowe Fence is looking for a dependable Shop Assistant to help keep our shop, yard, materials, and crews organized.
This is a hands-on role that includes loading and unloading materials, staging jobs for installation crews, organizing inventory, assisting with shop production, and keeping the yard/warehouse clean and safe.
The role also includes fabrication and assembly work, such as building wood fence panels, assembling vinyl panels, prepping gates, cutting materials, drilling, labeling, and organizing hardware. Welding experience is a major plus.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, vendor deliveries, and customer pickups
- Organize fence materials, tools, hardware, and inventory
- Stage jobs for installation crews
- Assist with wood panel assembly, vinyl panel assembly, gate prep, and material fabrication
- Cut, drill, label, prep, and organize materials for upcoming jobs
- Help maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and trailers
- Keep the shop and yard clean, safe, and organized
- Assist with pickups, deliveries, and jobsite drop-offs as needed
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to lift 75 lbs and perform physical work
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Comfortable working outside
- Fence, construction, warehouse, shop, or fabrication experience preferred
- Welding experience is a major plus
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
