Job Summary
- We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Architect with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable warehouse management solutions integrated with SAP ERP/S4HANA systems.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP EWM solution design and architecture discussions.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP EWM functional and technical solutions.
- Design and implement inbound, outbound, internal warehouse, and inventory management processes.
- Configure SAP EWM functionalities including:
- Putaway strategies
- Picking strategies
- Wave management
- RF framework
- Labor management
- Slotting and rearrangement
- Integrate SAP EWM with SAP ERP/S4HANA, TM, MM, SD, PP, and MES systems.
- Work on decentralized and embedded EWM implementations.
- Support integration with automation systems such as conveyors, ASRS, robotics, and handheld RF devices.
- Lead workshops, fit-gap analysis, and blueprint sessions with clients.
- Provide architecture guidance and best practices for SAP warehouse solutions.
- Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams and mentor junior consultants.
- Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and go-live support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues.
Required Skills
- 10 years of SAP experience with strong focus on SAP EWM.
- Hands-on experience in at least 2–3 full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Warehouse structure setup
- Storage types and sections
- Warehouse process types
- Handling units
- Batch management
- Serial number management
- PPF actions
- Queue management
- CIF integration
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM.
- Strong integration knowledge with SAP MM, SD, PP, TM, and WM.
- Experience with RF devices and warehouse automation integration.
- Knowledge of ABAP debugging, enhancements, BADIs, IDOCs, and APIs is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
