Job Summary The Executive Recruiter plays a critical role in driving growth by sourcing, evaluating, and managing top-tier legal and government relations talent. This position will focus on identifying strategic candidates, managing the full recruitment cycle, and aligning talent acquisition with the firm’s long-term goals. The role contributes directly to the firm's expansion and success across multiple regional markets. Key Responsibilities • Develop a deep understanding of the legal talent landscape, with a particular focus on identified strategic regions. • Build relationships with firm leadership and hiring stakeholders to align recruitment efforts with business strategy. • Identify candidates through diverse sourcing strategies, including digital platforms, networking events, and direct outreach. • Guide firm partners and shareholders on strategic outreach techniques to leverage internal and external networks. • Evaluate candidate viability and lead them through the entire recruitment process, from initial contact to offer acceptance. • Maintain a candidate pipeline for long-term strategic targets, utilizing tracking systems and relationship-building techniques. • Collaborate with internal recruiting staff to ensure efficient, consistent, and professional candidate experiences. • Support data collection and reporting to analyze recruiting trends and effectiveness of outreach efforts. Minimum Education & Experience Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required. • Minimum of 7 years of recruiting experience, preferably in the legal or professional services industry. • Demonstrated experience working directly with stakeholders and managing full-cycle recruitment efforts. Special Requirements • Ability to travel regionally for in-person candidate meetings or firm interviews, as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Strong knowledge of legal recruiting practices and the legal industry landscape. • Proficiency with recruiting platforms, databases, and professional networking tools. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes. Additional Desired Characteristics • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and lateral recruiting data tools. • Experience coaching leadership on sourcing and recruiting strategies. • Comfort adapting to new technologies, including advanced sourcing tools and intelligence platforms. Work Environment • Hybrid work environment combining in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. • Occasional travel required for recruitment events or interviews.
