REQUIREMENTS: ALL Applicants must be:
- 18 years of Age
- Able to Pass a Drug Test
- Legally Eligible to Work in the US
- Additional Requirements for Craftworkers:
- Must have reliable transportation to and from jobsite every work day (driver's license not required)
- Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools)
- May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities)
Primary Function of a Water Truck Driver: Drive trucks and operates water truck on construction site.
Typical Duties include but are not limited to:
- Inspect truck/trailer for defects before and after trips.
- Monitor vehicle during operation and report maintenance/repair requirements to dispatcher.
- Secure loads being transported ensuring safe and undamaged materials/equipment upon arrival at destinations.
- Hook hoses, fill and spread water on construction site.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
- Must have a valid CDL operator's license.
- Must maintain an electronic drivers log according to ICC regulations.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance adjustments to truck.
Essential Functions:
- Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. or more for short distances.
- Reach for, manipulate and feel objects.
- Stoop, kneel, bend, and walk.
- Maintain full dexterity.
- Work easily and skillfully with hands.
