Role Description The GTM (Go-To-Market) Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY. This role bridges product, engineering, and commercial teams to design and implement technical solutions that support product launches, customer onboarding, and market expansion. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product managers to translate customer needs into features, configuring and integrating APIs and data pipelines, and building tools or dashboards to support sales, marketing, and operations. The GTM Engineer will troubleshoot technical issues for internal stakeholders, document implementation best practices, and participate in customer demos to explain platform capabilities. This role also involves analyzing usage and performance metrics to inform product improvements and assisting with technical aspects of pilots and proof-of-concept projects.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in software engineering, API integration, and data handling to support product configuration and deployment.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, sales, marketing, and operations) to design and implement go-to-market solutions.
- Ability to translate customer and business requirements into clear technical specifications, workflows, and documentation.
- Comfort working with analytics tools and dashboards to interpret usage data and inform product and GTM strategy.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and participate in customer-facing discussions.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment and interest in location-based services, urban technology, or real-time data products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Compensation
- Salary: $130,000 – $170,000
- Equity: 0.5% – 1.5% (founding-team grant)
