Immediate Opening: Designer/Drafter (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Crow & Bulman Engineering specializing in HVAC and plumbing system design for new and existing buildings has an immediate opening for a Designer/Drafter.
The selected candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed engineer and will be responsible for:
- Using CAD systems to create bid/construction documents of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
- Sizing and design of ductwork and piping systems.
- Performing heating/cooling load calculations.
- Coordinating with other design disciplines.
Skills/Qualifications:
Required
- Working knowledge of current versions of Revit.
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree in engineering technology.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience with BIM modeling and clash detection.
- Prior experience in HVAC and/or plumbing design or construction.
Training:
On job training will be provided for job-specific software and procedures.
Following the training period, flexible work arrangements, including the possibility of remote work, may be available.
