Position Description
The Billing Manager general responsibilities include supervision and direction of the business office’s professional fee billing and cash application functions. Required Qualifications
- Education:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business administration, or a related field required (or equivalent in professional experience)
- Experience:
- At least 5 years experience in physician practice plan, healthcare, or medical insurance environment
- At last 3 years supervisory or managerial experience and previous exposure to hospital or physician billing
- Proficiency in computer skills including typing speed and accuracy
- Mathematics skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality of medical information
- Strict attention to details
- Knowledge of data entry and transcription
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
