Crouse’s Medical Imaging team is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide Interventional Radiology services.
Pay Range: $39.78 - $51.50 / hour
RNs are eligible for up to a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus!
Available Schedule(s): weekdays, 7:00am-5:30pm, with rotating on-call requirements every 3–6 weeks. Holiday on-call only based on seniority. No weekends.
Intervention Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) Position Responsibilities:
- Provides professional judgment and knowledge of roles as it pertains to the Crouse Hospital Professional Nursing Practice Model.
- Carries out duties and responsibilities per legal requirements under the Registered Nurse Scope of Practice, with emphasis on leading a culture of safe care.
- Responsible for all activities requiring assessment, planning, diagnosing, evaluating, judgment, problem-solving, creating and implementing the plan of care.
- Provides appropriate education to patients and families to promote health, facilitate rehabilitation and maintain wellness. Evaluates effectiveness and revises as appropriate.
- Monitors and evaluates patient responses to treatment/plan of care during hospital stay.
- Utilizes and engages in evidence based practice to deliver quality patient care.
- Demonstrates characteristics and skills that promote critical thinking in clinical problem solving situations.
- Administration of Moderate Sedation under the direction of an MD or NP.
Registered Nurse (RN) Position Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing degree program required.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred (Bachelor’s Degree required within 8 years of being hired for those licensed after 2017)
- Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and (PALS) certifications required.
- 1-year of Critical Care experience preferred
