Crouse’s Anesthesia team is hiring a Full Time LPN/Anesthesia Technician.
Pay Range: $18.00 - $34.66/hourly
Available Schedule(s): 1:00pm-9:30pm, with rotating of weekends, holidays & on-call
LPN/Anesthesia Technician Position Responsibilities:
- Assists the Anesthesia team in the preparation setup of surgical cases
- Cleaning, maintaining, and stocking the anesthesia equipment and carts between cases.
- Responds to requests for additional equipment/supplies during surgical cases and expedites the turnover between cases in a timely manner.
- Initiates patient monitoring prior to patient induction under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist/Anesthetist.
- Provides incidental teaching while supporting and reinforcing the established plan of care.
LPN/Anesthesia Technician Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York.
- Must have BLS (Basic Life Support) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire.
- Current certification with the Association of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year previous LPN experience in a direct patient care setting required.
- Previous critical care/anesthesia experience preferred.
