Crosswind Counseling Center is a growing mental health clinic committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our clients. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our clinicians and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for clients.
Position Summary
This is a very part-time, in-office position requiring availability Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 7:30–11:30 AM. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in new client onboarding, communication, scheduling, and general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate new client intakes and establish client records
- Provide and manage patient portal access for new and existing clients
- Verify, enter, and update insurance information
- Upload consent forms and maintain accurate documentation
- Schedule, confirm, and update client appointments
- Offer excellent client service both in person and via phone/email
- Support clinicians with general office and administrative tasks
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working in a mental health clinic or healthcare setting preferred
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Gmail, Drive)
- Experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar office support role
- Knowledge of office systems and equipment (printers, fax, scanners, etc.)
- Strong time management, multitasking abilities, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma required; additional education or administrative training a plus
