What You'll Do
As our Compliance Coordinator, you'll play a key role in keeping our properties safe, compliant, and well-managed. You'll work closely with our Maintenance Coordinator and Property Manager to handle:
Daily Operations
- Field tenant complaints and repair requests
- Coordinate access with tenants (calls, emails, letters)
- Track progress and close out service requests
- Create correspondence and form letters
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain fire extinguisher inspection records
- Handle violations (HPD, ECB, DOB, FDNY)
- File certifications and renewals
- Liaise on legal cases and evictions
- Manage FDNY permits and DEP CATS boiler registrations
Major Projects
- Lead paint inspections and abatement
- Gas detector installations
- NYC-issued garbage bins
- Parapet inspections
Annual & Misc. Filings
- Boilers, elevators, backflow, sprinklers, energy benchmarking
- Bedbug filings, sexual harassment training certificates
- 5-year elevator inspections, gasoline permits, façade filings
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40, $50,000.00 per year
