The Supervisor, Mobile Crisis and Hotline offers direct Clinical and Administrative supervision of Full Time, Part Time and PRN Crisis Clinicians, Crisis Hotline Specialists, Volunteers and Interns. This position requires clinical and administrative oversite as well as direct service, providing community-based crisis intervention services. This licensed provider will engage as a member of a collaborative team. With a Trauma Informed approach, this position will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health.
More specifically, this position is responsible for:
- Providing clinical and administrative supervision of staff.
- Teaching, coaching and developing staff to learn how to implement Hotline Services.
- Offering trauma informed support and guidance to callers experiencing mental health concerns to develop problem resolution.
- Providing immediate telephone crisis management to callers identified at risk for suicide or any other mental health emergency to assist in stabilization of caller.
- Employing active listening techniques to assist callers in de-escalating from mental health issues/concerns.
- Supplying appropriate linkages to all needed services and other community resources.
- Providing accurate, concise, and concurrent documentation according to program procedures and policies.
Position Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling required.
- LISW or LPCC licensure required. LISW-S or LPCC-S preferred.
- Three (3) years of clinical experience required.
- Two (2) years of management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience training and preforming employee evaluations highly desirable.
- Full-time hours, Monday through Friday with flexibility for some Evening and Weekend Hours, thus must have ability to work a flexible schedule as dictated by programmatic needs.
- Must have an acceptable driving record (4 points or less), reliable transportation, and carry automobile insurance with minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 and property damage of $50,000
- BLS/CPR/First Aid (as applicable, employer provided)
