Day in The Life of a Part-time Nurse Practitioner

Some Responsibilities Include
- Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in our outpatient clinic settings
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment
- Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards
- Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care to patients, including referrals to other medical providers and community services
- Will perform injections.
- Primary center: Winchester
- Target weekly hours: 17 hours to start with potential to go full-time (Mon-Fri weekly).
- Part-time proposed schedule: Winchester: Mon 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Tues 12:30 PM - 6:00 PM, Thurs 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
- Full-time potential schedule: above hours plus add Harrisonburg Wed 6 hours, Friday 6 hours.
- Nurse Practitioner with an active, unrestricted licensure and authorized to practice in the state of practice
- Primary specialty in one of the following: Family Medicine/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Practice, Psychiatry
- DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice with ability to schedule 2, 2N, 3, 4, & 5
- Must have or be eligible for enrollment for Medicaid and Medicare credentials
- Additional education or certification may be required depending on state of practice.
- Experience in addiction medicine, preferably with experience treating patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) and/or providing medication for opioid use disorder
- W-2 employment, permanent part-time, with competitive pay based on experience
- Our centers are outpatient
