What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Service Professional (Day Program) position at Crossroads Services Inc?

Qualified candidate must work well in both a group setting and as a one-on-one with individuals that have varying physical and intellectual disabilities. You must be motivated, a creative problem solver, active, very energetic, caring, and be willing to adapt to an ever-changing environment. It requires learning how to properly implement a person-centered approach.
This position REQUIRES that you are prompt and arrive at 7:45am and are available until 3:45pm Monday through Friday.
The Direct Support Professional position requires you to have your High School Diploma/GED, and a valid PA Driver’s license. All applicants must be approved to be insured through Crossroads auto insurance policy prior to employment.
Pre-employment physical, TB, drug screen and all criminal history background checks will be paid for by Crossroads Services, Inc.
$100 bonus after the completion of 90 days of employment
$250 bonus after the completion of 6 months of employment
$500 bonus after the completion of 1 year of employment
$250 bonus for anyone referring another individual who remains employed for at least 6 months
