Maintenance/Mechanic

We are looking for a full time and we will consider part time Industrial Maintenance/Mechanic to work first shift, and are open to flexible work schedules. In this position you will diagnose and repair various kinds of equipment while working with safety as a primary focus.

What you'll do:

Perform preventative and general maintenance on equipment in a light industrial facilities. Types of equipment include:

• Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment 
• Forklifts
• Staple guns
• Baltec Presses
• Speedycut Tapping machines
• Clausing Spindle Drill
• AirMite punches 
• Manual lathe
• Drill press
• Band saw
• Grinder
• Other shop equipment as needed.

Other duties include:

• Setup and changeover production line equipment
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs
• Open building when needed
• Assist in areas outside of your primary responsibility and learn other skills, as required.

Education and experience

• 2- 5 years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of metal fabrication machines
• Working knowledge of electrical systems
• Working knowledge of HVAC system
• Working knowledge of production tooling and fixtures
