What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinician - Therapeutic Community position at Crossroads for Women?
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Clinician to join our Therapeutic Community team, dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health and behavioral support. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based therapies, facilitate group and individual counseling sessions, and develop personalized treatment plans for individuals exiting incarceration.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using DSM-V-TR to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, DBT, Somatic-Based Therapy, IFS etc.
- Develop Crisis Plans and support clients and case management staff during client crises.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide clinical recommendations/
- Maintain detailed client charts, including progress notes, treatment and crisis plans.
- Support in communication with NM Probation and Parole as appropriate.
- Facilitate weekly DBT, Trauma and Substance Use related groups.
Skills/Requirements
- Licensed in the State of New Mexico (LMHC, LPCC, LMSW, LCSW)
- Experience with individual and group therapy
- Ability to diagnose and complete diagnostic assessments
Pay: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour
