Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position in Panama City for a Secondary English Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, Christ-centered English instruction aligned with academic standards while supporting the academic, spiritual, and social development of students. Responsibilities include teaching secondary English courses, assessing student progress, maintaining a positive classroom environment, collaborating with faculty on curriculum development, and participating in school activities and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Literature, or a related field
- Relevant teaching experience at the middle and/or high school level
- Strong knowledge of secondary English instruction
- Teaching certification or qualifications in a relevant discipline preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills
- Ability to foster a positive and Christ-centered classroom environment
- Experience integrating Christian values into instruction preferred
