Crossroads Center for Children's school program is seeking to add an additional BCBA to the team of 4 BCBA/BCaBAs!
Crossroads Center for Children is located in Princetown, NY and offers several different programs for children ages two through nine. This position involves working collaboratively with special educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, a physical therapist, and teaching assistants in the delivery of quality ABA services in a school setting. The school serves at total of 76 special education students (48 preschool children and 28 school-aged children) as well as typically developing preschoolers who attend the integrated preschool program. The behavior analysts are responsible for monitoring student's skill acquisition programs in collaboration with other providers and monitoring behavior intervention plans for those students who require that level of intervention. Each behavior analyst is assigned particular classrooms to monitor (between 12-18 students).
This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) that follows a school calendar, including a six-week summer program. All school breaks are paid with the exception of three vacation weeks that surround the summer program. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00AM-3:30PM.
Candidates must possess:
- Master Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
- BCBA credential preferred (candidates may also be finishing their final hours of fieldwork experience and onsite supervision would be provided)
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective time-management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong documentation skills
- Willingness to learn and apply new skills

Expectations of Board Certified Behavior Analyst:
- Perform assessments of behavior and develop behavior plans.
- Train staff in the implementation of behavior plans and conduct regular fidelity checks.
- Monitor treatment plans and schedule interdisciplinary meetings to review progress.
- Work collaboratively with families and other service providers.
- Assist with staff and parent training.
- Provide staff feedback
