Part-Time Senior HR generalist
We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and experienced HR professional to manage the day-to-day human resources operations of our growing manufacturing company. This individual will serve as the primary internal HR contact for approximately 45 employees and will work closely alongside our PEO provider, Insperity, to help ensure smooth, organized, and compliant HR operations across the organization.
This is an on-site, part-time position ideal for an experienced HR professional who is comfortable working independently, taking ownership of HR organization and compliance, and operating within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position Overview
This role will be responsible for overseeing and organizing all internal HR administration and coordination for the company. The selected candidate will work independently as the company’s primary HR resource while partnering with Insperity for payroll, benefits, and HR infrastructure support.
We are seeking an experienced HR professional who is proactive, detail-oriented, approachable, and capable of managing HR responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Administration
- Serve as the company’s primary internal HR contact
- Manage all employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain organized employee personnel files and HR documentation
- Coordinate recruiting activities, interview scheduling, and hiring support
- Prepare and manage offer letters, onboarding paperwork, disciplinary documentation, and termination documentation
- Assist management with employee relations matters and HR guidance
- Track PTO, attendance, leaves of absence, and related employee records
- Coordinate workers compensation claims and related documentation
- Help administer employee policies, handbook updates, and HR procedures
- Ensure HR records and employee information remain accurate, organized, and compliant
Insperity & Payroll Coordination
- Act as the primary liaison between the company and Insperity
- Coordinate payroll preparation, employee changes, and payroll review processes
- Assist with benefits administration and employee enrollment coordination
- Ensure employee updates and HR information are properly communicated to Insperity
- Coordinate HR-related reporting and administrative requests with the PEO
Compliance & Workplace Administration
- Help ensure company compliance with applicable HR laws, workplace regulations, and employment requirements
- Maintain OSHA logs, training records, and safety documentation
- Coordinate annual HR compliance reporting and required employment documentation
- Ensure required labor law posters, workplace notices, and compliance notifications are properly maintained and displayed
- Maintain organized documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements
- Support workplace training coordination and compliance tracking
Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture
- Work with management to help improve employee engagement, communication, and workplace morale
- Assist in organizing employee appreciation initiatives and workplace activities
- Coordinate company-hosted lunches or employee events for special occasions as needed
- Help foster a professional, organized, and positive workplace environment
Qualifications
- Previous HR management experience is required
- Experience managing HR responsibilities independently
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or operational environments preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Comfortable handling confidential employee information professionally
- Experience working with a PEO environment such as Insperity is a plus
