We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant / Client Service Representative who is dependable, emotionally intelligent, and motivated to be part of a collaborative, supportive team. This is a dual-role position that combines hands-on patient care with front-desk client service.
What You’ll Do
Client Service Responsibilities:
- Greet clients with empathy and professionalism
- Answer multi-line phones and triage calls appropriately
- Schedule appointments and manage medical records
- Process payments and review treatment plans
- Support clients during high-stress and emotional situations
Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist doctors and technicians with patient restraint and procedures
- Provide client education
- Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas
- Perform basic laboratory tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hospital
What We’re Looking For
- Prior veterinary experience preferred (but we will train the right person)
- Strong communication skills and emotional resilience
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Team-oriented mindset
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Comfortable with animals of all sizes and temperaments
