What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Mentor position at Crossroad Child & Family Services, Inc.?
Youth Mentor: Need a professional and rewarding career that utilizes your skills, education and experience in working with children and families in difficult circumstances? Crossroad is a mental health treatment center that utilizes the CARE treatment model in helping children learn how to cope with and heal from trauma. Job responsibilities include supervising, role modeling, teaching life skills, assisting with education and recreation programs, and interacting with and caring for youth. Ability to work with clients and families in a residential setting. Must possess the ability to be certified in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention as well as possess the physical abilities, agility, and strength to participate in physical interventions required for TCI. Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification. Full-time available. Computer proficiency required. Rotating schedule of 4 on 2 off schedule which includes weekends. 2nd shift available.
