What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources position at Crosspointe Recovery?
Position Overview:
The Human Resources Manager will work primarily from our Woodland Hills outpatient office, but will also rotate to our Sherman Oaks and Granada Hills facilities as needed. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and ready to grow with a mission-driven team.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Program Director and Owner on employee hiring, onboarding, and terminations
- Prepare and process employee write-ups and disciplinary documentation
- Ensure compliance with state and Joint Commission standards for HR practices along with Program Director.
- Maintain and update employee files, records, and credentials
- Sit in on staff meetings and provide HR support across all programs
- Assist with payroll coordination and benefits administration
- Support management with performance evaluations and staff development initiatives
- Coordinate new hire orientation and ongoing employee trainings
- Respond to staff inquiries and serve as a point of contact for HR policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of HR experience required (behavioral health/healthcare preferred, but not required)
- Knowledge of California labor laws and HR compliance standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software/EMR systems (experience with Kipu is a plus)
Compensation & Benefits:
- $55,000 – $60,000 annually (depending on experience)
