What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Tech position at Crosspoint Human Services?
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of facility maintenance and repair tasks, including HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance. This includes troubleshooting and general building upkeep; we offer a diverse and rewarding work environment where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and well-functioning facilities.
Responsibilities and Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to buildings, fixtures, and systems including pluming, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliances.
- Conduct preventative maintenance checks and document completed work.
- Conduct routine vehicle safety inspections and basic upkeep including fluid checks, tire inspections, light replacement, and cleanliness checks.
- Coordinate scheduled vehicle maintenance and respond to urgent fleet issues during assigned on-call periods.
- Maintain accurate vehicle inspection and maintenance logs.
- Respond to on-call maintenance needs within defined response time expectations.
Schedule: Monday through Friday: 7:Am to 3:30 Pm on call rotation
Job Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma or the equivalent.
- 2 years or more of related experience
