Kids Minister/Pastor

Objective:

The Kids Minister/Pastor is responsible for designing and developing ministry systems, tools, and resources to effectively disciple children from birth through elementary age and serve their families by championing this ministry for all Crosspoint City Church locations.

• Maintain God ordained priorities in your life by putting Jesus first, spouse second, children third, and minsitry fourth
• Give generously to the vision and mission of Crosspoint City Church
• Be loyal to the vision and staff of Crosspoint City Church and always protect the unity of the church
• Invest and invite the lost to know Jesus and come to Crosspoint City Church
• Maintain staff team covenant

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and shepherd the Kids Team (all locations) to effectively disciple birth-elementary kids
• Design and maintain all Kids Ministry systems and training. (ex, reach families, recruit, check-in/out, classroom expectations, etc.)
• Develop and improve "the play" for both PreK and Elementary Ministry to be implemented at all locations
• Develop and cast vision for Kids Ministry in a way that is executable at all locations
• Choose, prepare, and distribute curriculum and all related resources for PreK and Elementary Ministry activities/events to ministry leaders at all locations
• Develop engaging environments, activities, and programming that facilitate biblical learning and spiritual growth from PreK-5th grades
• Manage and create content for Kids Ministry social media accounts and general communication to families
• Be available to coach, train, and resource all Kids Ministry staff at all locations
• Lead monthly all location Kids Staff meeting to ensure clear communication and collaboration amongst the Kids team
• Check in weekly with each location's Kids Staff to provide support as needed
• Provide point leadership for the Kids Team at our Cartersville location
• Develop and improve "the play" for Special Needs Ministry to be implemented at all locations
• Lead and resource the Special Needs Team at our Cartersville location
• Communicate effectively with your Direct Report, Location Pastors, and Kids Ministry leads with thought, ideas, and challenges
• Collaborate with all Kids Team Staff to develop and implement Kids Camp at all locations
• Lead and develop staff, apprentices, and interns (if applicable)
• Ensure excellence in all areas of your ministry
• Steward effectively and efficiently the budget and all resources related to your ministry
• Resource the Childcare Coordinator with any procedures, practices, and resources for serving kids and their families
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned
