What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time 4-year-old VPK Lead Teacher position at Crosspoint Academy?
To carry out the vision of connecting people to Christ through Crosspoint’s outreach ministry - Crosspoint Academy. This is primarily carried out by embracing all aspects of Crosspoint Academy policies/practices to include: making Crosspoint Academy a ministry before a school, upholding state licensing requirements through DCF, connecting Crosspoint Academy families to Christ through relationships and ministry events.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Days and times include Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 8:40-3:10
- Deliver quality educational programs that comply with the mission of Crosspoint Academy, VPK, and DCF requirements.
- Assess children’s spiritual and educational needs and deliver appropriate teaching interventions to satisfy that need.
- Maintain a classroom environment of 11 children that promotes good health, safety and cleanliness.
- Develop a nurturing childcare environment for children where learning can take place, following daily classroom schedules and lesson plans.
- Attend and complete training for First Aid, CPR, VPK, and DCF as required by state law.
