What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Development Manager, Alpha - $150,000/year USD position at Crossover?
- On-site position in Park City (Salt Lake City), UT; Keller (Fort Worth), TX; Oklahoma City, OK; or Atlanta, GA
- $150,000 annual salary with weekly pay. Health benefits begin immediately
- Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
At Alpha, this isn't up for discussion—it's the foundation of daily operations. Students advance through academic content via self-directed applications rather than traditional instructor-led lessons. This model allows you to focus on what truly drives transformation: facilitating dynamic workshops on public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback. You'll use live analytics to motivate students toward complete goal achievement. You'll develop the Guides working beside you. Your instruments are data, a validated operational framework, and the executive presence that commands attention from middle schoolers.
A typical morning begins with individual Guide coaching, examining Coachbot metrics and pinpointing cohort performance gaps. Mid-morning transitions to student-facing workshops where you execute playbook protocols on feedback exchange. Afternoons center on motivational interventions: one-on-one student conversations to understand individual drivers, then deploying Alpha's incentive architecture (campus currency, performance leaderboards) to re-engage a disengaged seventh grader. You maintain direct ownership of a cohort, ensuring you preserve the competencies you're training others to master.
Three outcomes define your accountability: students demonstrate enthusiasm for school, they progress at double the rate of conventional classrooms, and they acquire authentic life competencies. Guide coaching begins on day one. As you produce measurable results consistently, your authority over campus-wide program standards expands.
Uphold the standard. Transform the student. Submit your application today.
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating structured one-hour life skills workshops (public speaking, focus, feedback exchange) for students in grades K-8, executing Alpha's established playbook
- Conducting targeted motivation sessions leveraging Coachbot analytics and Alpha's incentive infrastructure (campus currency, leaderboards) to achieve 100% student goal attainment
- Developing Guides through coaching focused on program adherence and standards maintenance, ensuring each session yields concrete improvement actions
- Retaining direct responsibility for your own student cohort while simultaneously advancing other Guides' capabilities
- Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal completion percentages, and Guide performance indicators
- Delivering academic lectures or providing subject tutoring. Apps handle student learning.
- Creating curriculum or developing lesson plans. Alpha's playbook serves as your operational framework, allowing you to concentrate on delivery and relationship-building.
- Accepting 99% when the standard is 100%. Maintaining this boundary demonstrates your belief in student capability.
- Training Guides on instructional methodology. Since Guides don't teach content, your coaching targets energy, motivation, and accountability systems.
Execute Alpha's 3 Promises for every student within your assigned level: they demonstrate love for school, they achieve learning velocity twice that of traditional classrooms, and they develop genuine life skills.
