What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating one-hour life skills sessions with K-2 learners, providing coaching and reinforcing literacy instruction delivered by Reading Specialists
- Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning platforms and reach their weekly academic milestones
- Guiding emotional self-regulation, persistence, and critical thinking through consistent routines and supportive interactions
- Monitoring individual student development and challenges, identifying concerns proactively, and refining approaches alongside your team
- Building a classroom environment that balances structure, joy, and individual connection
Youth Development Coach key responsibilities
- Availability to work full-time on-site at our Miami, FL campus
- Bachelor's degree from any discipline
- 3 years of hands-on experience with children ages 4–8 in educational settings, afterschool programs, coaching roles, or comparable contexts
- Engaging storyteller and dynamic presenter: capable of capturing and maintaining the focus of young children in group settings
- Capacity to maintain elevated expectations for both yourself and your students, while motivating children to achieve their objectives
- Growth-oriented mindset and receptiveness to coaching
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without need for sponsorship

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
