Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. What You Will Be Doing
- Constructing precise Academic Data Reports that identify challenges and initiate corrective action within a 48-hour timeframe
- Conducting quick-turnaround intervention calls that eliminate obstacles and re-energize students for upcoming work
- Facilitating post-assessment coaching to distinguish genuine knowledge deficits from simple mistakes and outline actionable next steps
- Reporting enrollment irregularities or metric discrepancies as soon as they emerge, protecting the reliability of all performance data
- Collaborating with Parent Support and Academics leadership to enhance platforms, reporting tools, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor advances
- Spending hours in meetings where your analysis goes unheard
- Producing templated presentations with no visibility into real impact
- Evaluating physical assignments or drafting curriculum—AI handles the instructional workload

Basic Requirements
- Demonstrated ability working in data science or related role, education, EdTech, or a student-support role with both analytical and interpersonal components.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering…)
- High emotional intelligence, strong communication skills and a kid-friendly coaching style
