What You Will Be Doing
- Leading adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension
- Creating personalized motivational strategies that engage students and foster a lasting passion for reading
- Reviewing student performance metrics to refine instructional methods and generate practical insights
- Partnering with technology specialists to assess and improve AI-based literacy platforms
Reading Teacher key responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in reading instruction (such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or comparable program)
- Minimum of 2 years delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
- Demonstrated ability to assess reading proficiency, organize student groupings, and create differentiated instruction independently of pre-packaged curricula
- Experience working with AI/adaptive learning platforms and adjusting instruction based on student interaction patterns
- Current legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
- Ability to work on-site at one of the following locations: Chantilly (Washington), VA; Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; or New York City, NY

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
