What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reading Interventionist, The Novatio School (Remote) - $60,000/year USD position at Crossover?
You recognize that moment when a struggling student suddenly reads fluently, with confidence replacing hesitation. Frustration fades. Momentum builds. If creating that transformation is what drives you, this position is designed for you.
Novatio operates as a fully remote school committed to delivering personalized academic support, rigorous instruction, and measurable student outcomes. We understand that students who struggle with reading require more than digital tools and printed exercises. They need precise intervention, reliable encouragement, and educators capable of making real-time instructional adjustments.
In this position, you will provide virtual reading intervention sessions to students in grades 3–8 while fostering the confidence and persistence that support sustainable growth. You will interpret assessment data to identify skill deficits, modify instruction rapidly, and design interventions aligned with each student's current abilities. You will also conduct brief motivational check-ins that maintain engagement, accountability, and pride in achievement.
This position is well-suited for someone who appreciates autonomy, immediate feedback, and observable results. If you seek the freedom to customize instruction while guiding students toward measurable improvements in reading fluency and comprehension, we encourage you to connect with us.
